Shoals Rodrigues provides Marine Education, Scientific Research and Community Support in order to achieve the conservation and sustainable use of Rodrigues marine resources. Shoals Rodrigues strives to achieve sustainable management of the Rodrigues lagoon by working with three core activities:
1) through scientific research and collaboration with universities to gather information about Rodrigues encircling lagoon.
2) this information is used to educate Rodriguan people and to protect the marine life
3) Shoals Rodrigues also conducts socioeconomic studies and provides trainings so that these people can find other jobs

Relevant Activities:
Shoals conduct marine education, marine research and community support. Shoals activities focus on fisherman and school children that have a natural enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge when it comes to marine live.

The aim of the Shoals is Reef conservation through information and education. To achieve goals and raise the local understanding of Rodrigues encircling lagoon, Shoals work closely together with educators, international volunteers and visiting scientists.
