Comments on the Stakeholder Participation course

Dear Oriana

I thoroughly enjoyed the 'Stakeholder Participation' course. The various modules were all of direct application, right from identifying stakeholders, to assessing their level of engagement, the benefits derived from participation, assessing influence of various stakeholders, exploring techniques to engage stakeholders, how to organise a workshop, communicating effectively, evaluation, and last but not least representativity. The modules flow well from one to the other and have strong interlinks.

I personally benefited from the course by better understanding the need to be inclusive of stakeholders and how to ensure that the voices of the weakest are heard as much as those of the strongest, and why this may be more important to the outcome. The height of the course was Module 5 - Representativity.

I would encourage all persons who are regularly involved in stakeholder participation processes to enroll on the course, since the benefits derived can only improve the way such activities are planned and conducted.

Dear Oriana,

I would like to thank the DLIST team for such a wonderful initiative. I have learn the link from what is a stakeholder, who should be looked at, how can they be notice and their ideas inculcation methods and importance, information outreach methods and channels. How their impacts influence their life and the decisions/results of initiative.The modules are link and well written in an understandable language.
From this course i come up with this saying " EVERYONE IS A STAKEHOLDER IN LIFE".
Lets encourage our fellows/peers to join this wonderful and educative course.

My heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our able course coordinator i.e Oriana and my colleagues am grateful.

Thank you very much for your comments and support! I would like to ask all the participants to contribute and make comments re this course so we can also improve it! Does anyone else would like to send any comments/contributions?

I would like to thank you all for participating in this course, specially Mr. Bubacarr, Ms Bernacia and Mr. Vikash, who were very active participants and shared with us very interesting experiences and knowledge.

I hope that you continue being active members of the general forum, creating good discussions and sharing with us every experience you have in your country.
