Jomo Kenyatta Beach clean-ups

I would like to say that it is very interesting to know about the clean ups taking place at the beach!I noted that there is less litter on July 2010 compared to January 2010 the last two times i visited this Public beach.
There is also a trader who collects and sells empty plastic water bottles and i would like to say that this is a business that contributes positively to environmental cleanliness and has helped reduce plastic waste around the beach area. I found this business kind of an award winning business that is timely and very relevant in that area. The trader earns his daily bread through the business! Maybe such an initiative should be employed in other sections such as plastic bags!
