Algae identification!

I'd like your help to identify this algae in the attachment and provid me more information about it. This algae is very abondant now in the extern slop of coral reef in Masoala, Antongil Bay and Mananara (NE Madagascar) Thanks Bemahafaly

Yes agree it's not poss. to make any reliable ID from a general photo, but your guess may help him look in the right direction.
Apparently it's been proliferating rapidly over some local coral reefs, so am also guessing the expansion might be connected to increased rainfall events and associated nutrient increases from land-runoff.
