3rd Annual Agricultural Research Review Workshop

WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources - Zanzibar is intending to host the 3rd Annual Agricultural Research Review Workshop in the second quarter of the 2012/2013 financial year. Recent findings from agriculture and related disciplines (crop science, fisheries, forestry, agriculture economics, environmental sciences, livestock and veterinary sciences) will be discussed in panels for the period of 2-3 days. This workshop is therefore broadly set out to address issues related to agricultural development for Zanzibar and areas of similar agro ecological condition. Local and international scientists wishing to present their oral and/or poster papers are cordially invited to submit their abstracts (written in English), not exceeding 400 words (i.e. one A4 format page of single spaced typing, including any tables or diagrams and a few important references). All papers presented during the workshop will be reviewed and thereafter, published in the 3rd Annual Agricultural Research Proceedings early next year.
