The Development Plan for Curieuse and Côte d’Or aims to foster and maintain a higher quality of life on and near the Côte d’Or beach and the Curieuse Marine National Park and other marine areas by unlocking local economic development opportunities; a good plan may typically call for improved communication, better planning, construction of infrastructure and services, the creation of links between the MPA management and the local community and the creation of sustainable business opportunities based on the strengths and potential of the areas, and general employment that is linked to opportunities in the area.
